Apply your mind, heart and entrepreneurial talents with the industry’s leading team, and discover why top-performing mortgage professionals excel with us.  * December 2006 SEC filing.Personal Loan Consultant Trainee I Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Assisting the primary PLC with Initiating calls to and follow-up with prospective borrowers, business partners, corporations, realtors, etc. from various lead sources.  Beginning to build a relationship with all customers and eventually convert the lead into an application.·  Assisting the primary PLC with originating loan applications and entering customer data into the AdvantEdge system; analyzing credit data; discussing the loan processing/closing steps with the customer; building loan files which are then forwarded to the applicable central processing unit for processing.·  Studying and becoming an expert on Countrywide loan programs and guidelines.·  Studying and becoming an expert on AdvantEdge.·  Assisting the primary PLC with advising potential borrowers on appropriate loan programs and the loan process. ·  Assisting the primary PLC and the central processing unit and customer with issues that arise while the loan is being processed ·  Participating in sales meetings and training. A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  High School diploma and/or equivalent work experience·  Less than 1 year - Functional·  Less than 1 year – ManagementCountrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
