LAN Engineering Manager

Your job will allow you to take ownership of the LAN/MAN functional area for the IP Services Engineering group and help create engineering standards for this critical area including networking technologies for the Data Center. You job will involve undertaking extensive evaluations of key technologies including next generation products that will comprise the future direction of Data Center connectivity. By managing a talented team of individuals in multiple regions there will be critical communications with the technology groups of the major business units to drive solutions that meet current & future requirements. Your job will require a blend of managerial, technical and business acumen skills that will allow the group to closely partner with the key stakeholders across CTI and business aligned technical groups and provide cost effective technical solutions for data switching, Data Center campus connectivity, Wireless and Load balancing solutions.As part of the CTI IP Services Engineering group, the LAN/MAN functional area has responsibility for engineering products and solutions specifically for Data Center network connectivity, LAN/MAN connectivity, Wireless access and Load Balancing. The responsibility is on a global basis across all business functions.
