Junior PhD Quantitative Analyst-Cross Asset Class Quantitative Finance Team

The group sits on the exotics trading floor with the traders and product coverage ranges from vanilla derivatives to complex exotic hybrids. The team consists of internationally renowned quants that have extensive publication lists and excellent desk exposure. The ideal candidate will have graduated with a PhD in a quantitative subject ( ideally Mathematics) from a highly prestigious academic institution with superior grades in a technical subject.The ability to bring clarity to complicated ideas and effectively communicate to a non-mathematical audience is essential. You should have a strong theoretical grasp of derivative theory. From a mathematical finance perspective you should have a strong understanding of the Martingale Representation Theorem, Lévy's characterisation of Brownian motion, Girsanov's Theorem and Brownian Bridges Exceptional C++ skills are required.The position does not require any previous financial experience but you would need to show a demonstrable interest in finance ( internships, extracurricular reading) and a solid quantitative grounding This is a very good opportunity for an outstanding junior candidate to join a world class team of quants and build a solid foundation your career.
