Junior Computer Scientists-Hedge Fund Development Role
Junior, MSc, Masters, PhD, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Computer Vision, developer, development, programmer, programming, C++, C, C#, MATLAB, Quant, Research, ivy league International Hedge Fund are looking to hire superb MSc or PhD junior candidates in engineering disciplines who have a sincere interest in software work and the desire to work in a technologically oriented yet highly performance driven trading environment. The role will involve participation in the development of new trading models with the Quantitative Research team and the implementation and evaluation of new trading ideas. It will also involve managing the interface between general business logic software and model specific mathematical software. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science preferably with a mathematical focus for example, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering. MSc students from Ivy league universities with strong mathematical skills will also be considered. Prior experience in large, industry style software projects or previous employment as a software architect will be a huge plus point for this position. You must have solid programming skills in C++/ C#, MATLAB and a passion for software work. The client is also keen to interview candidates who will consider London City as a location to work .
