Investor Relations RFP Writer (New York)
The D. E. Shaw group seeks a talented associate to support the preparation of responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) in connection with our institutional asset management business. The associate will gain exposure to all aspects of the firm’s asset management business, including trading, marketing, legal, compliance, and technology infrastructure. The main areas of responsibility will be drafting, reviewing, and editing responses to RFPs, and coordinating with various groups within the firm to help bring these and other documents to completion. The position requires superior writing, organizational, and analytical ability; proven editing, proofreading, and project management skills; and an obsessive attention to detail. Candidates should have a first-rate academic background. Prior experience in writing RFPs or a familiarity with finance is a plus.
