State Farm Insurance Companies offer a wide-ranging portfolio of insurance products and financial services, delivered through a local State Farm agent.  Our State Farm agency has been established for 20 years, and its year after year success as a leader in our field has always been based on the fundamental principals of friendly, professional, and ethical sales and service techniques. 

We are seeking an ambitious person with a warm, positive personality to begin a sales and service career in our East Greenbush, New York office.  Day-to-day activities involve all aspects of the sale and service of property and casualty and life insurance policies, from applications to claims resolution.  A successful candidate will gain the kind of experience in relationship-building, marketing, and sales to have the opportunity to become a State Farm agent, if desired.

Applicants must enjoy working one-on-one with clients, and within a team of six co-workers.  We are a goals-oriented sales organization.  Attention to detail, organization, and the abilities to multi-task and communicate effectively are all essential qualities.  Computer skills are required.  Job-specific knowledge is gained through off-site New York State licensing courses which are paid by the employer, and on-the-job training.
