Information Security AnalystThe Information Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring that information residing on computer systems is adequately secured. Analyze risk assessments and perform control assessments in accordance with Information Security policy and procedures to assess information security posture. Duties: Help develop/maintain an Information Security testing framework and standards for documentation, metrics, and reporting. Meet with business and system owners to gather system/application information that will be used in the control verification/testing process. Perform Information Security control verification/testing procedures as per defined testing schedule(s). Report testing exceptions and metrics to Information Security management. Work with Information Security engineers to enhance computer system-based controls. Stay current on electronic vulnerability topics related to Zions Bancorporation computer systems. JOB Requirements Programming knowledge of C, C++, Java, SQL Knowledge of web development tools and technologies Working knowledge of UNIX internals and scripting Working knowledge of Microsoft NT/2000/2003 internals Working knowledge of Netware internals Working Knowledge of MVS OS390 Information Systems auditing Working knowledge of cryptography and digital certificates Strong analytical problem solving skills involving code Oracle database security administration and design Application penetration testing Security framework control testing Additional Information Requires a Bachelor's and some directly related experience. Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
