For more information, visit http://www.standardandpoors.com Standard & Poor's is seeking an Implementation Manager to develop and implement customer migration strategies, quality assurance procedures, support processes, and operational best practices. The position will manage the risk associated with the project in order to fully meet or exceed business goals and objectives as defined by the key business users. Responsibilities: Lead implementation and migration efforts from legacy file delivery applications to new enterprise delivery platform Coordinates the implementation, deployment and operation of new applications and technology solutions for business needs Work closely with business stakeholders, quality assurance, product owners and cross-functional IT teams Create project plan, budget and risks, dashboards and status reports; assist with producing overall project documentation Successfully manage requirements issues through the product lifecycle to ensure quality product delivery Responsible for the implementation of training materials and training programs Analyze, diagnose, design, plan, execute and evaluate work to time, cost and quality targets Assist in operational support and application administration as needed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience 5+ years of related experience with at least 2 years in a leadership position In-depth knowledge of and practical experience in the full software development lifecycle process and best practices Experience managing vendor/customer relationships, contracts, SOWs and SLA's Understanding of basic project management practices; PMP certification a plus Demonstrated thorough knowledge of project estimating, risk and change management, implementation planning and business analysis Strong project management acumen; strong leadership ability, interpersonal, communication and excellent organizational skills Strong understanding of testing techniques and tools, quality assurance practices Familiarity with electronic product delivery platforms, FTP applications, and/or B2B integration tools a plus Copyright 2008 Standard & Poor's, a division of The McGraw-Hill Companies.
