Our client, a Japanese bank is looking for  1. Credit Risk Portfolio Reports Developer, 2. UNIX System Administrator, and 3. System Analyst

 



TITLE:  Credit Risk Portfolio Reports Developer (Jersey City, NJ)



SALARY:  Range 60k to 65k



DESCRIPTION:  Responsible for creating, maintaining, and tuning of

custom reports related to Credit Risk Portfolio Analysis.  Work

individually or on a team on various report-related issues.  Develop

specific documentation on user reporting requirements, and test plans

for implementation.  Assist users and application support staff with

application debugging using custom reports.  Assist in evaluating new

enterprise reporting tool.  Provide technical training for IT personnel

as needed.



EXPERIENCE:  Experience with financial reports using complex

calculations (RAROC, SVA, and other Basel II reports).  Experience with

Cognos and/or Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBI EE).

Setup and rollout of an enterprise reporting tool.  Experience creating

a broad spectrum of custom financial reports using reporting tool.

Experience training end users on reporting tool.



SKILLS:  Ability to multi-task.  Must work well in a team environment.

Excellent communication skills required (end user training/issue

resolution).  Some weekend/evening support.

This position will be located in Harborside (Jersey City, NJ).

 

 

 

TITLE:  UNIX Systems Administrator (Jersey City, NJ) *Japanese fluency is required



SALARY:  Range 65k to 70k



DESCRIPTION:  Responsible for the maintenance of UNIX hardware &

software systems with Japan Support Desk.  Provide application support

to UNIX systems.  Work in a team on various system projects related to

UNIX, Storage, & Application support.

Thoroughly test hardware & software upgrades and if necessary, work

off-shift hours including Saturday/Sunday to test.  Debug and correct

installed UNIX operating system software as required.  Apply maintenance

to system hardware/software as required.  Debug and apply corrective

maintenance to system software as required.  Assist Developers with high

level problem program debugging and correction.  Provide end user and

developer support via Customer Support.  Provide off shift on call

support for production system support.  Make system hardware and

software recommendations as required.  Maintain UNIX Disaster Recovery

Plan.



EXPERIENCE:  Experience with Solaris or HP-UX System Administration.

Fluent in Japanese language is required.



SKILLS:  Experience with server side administration of Tivoli Storage

Manager (TSM).  Experience with SAN management (EMC Symmetrix, HP EVA,

EMC Control Center).  Experience with the setup of an enterprise

monitoring system.  Experience with Korn shell Programming.

This position will be located in Harborside (Jersey City, NJ).

 

 

 

TITLE:  Systems Analyst (New YOrk, NY)*Japanese fluency is required



SALARY:  Range 60k to 65k



DESCRIPTION:  Responsible for planning of implementation and maintenance

of in-house application systems in New York.  Work in a team and make

necessary arrangements for the in-house application systems in New York.

Work with not only Local IT staff but also JRIA staff during planning.

This position needs to communicate with many areas of IT organization

New York such as infrastructure group, application group, operation

group, IT security group, IT audit group.



EXPERIENCE:  General IT knowledge for Operating System (Windows, UNIX),

Database, Network or Application systems development are required.



SKILLS:  Good communication skills both in English and Japanese are

important for this position.  Windows, UNIX or Network skills are

welcome.  Fluent in Japanese language is required.  To communicate with

people working in Tokyo, early morning or late night meetings (e.g. 8 am

or 8pm) will sometimes be held and are required to be attended.

This position will be located in New York.
