IT Technical WriterThe IT Technical Writer will be responsible for creating documentation including user, administration and programming guides, as well as policy, procedure and process documentation. Create training material in the form of online training. Responsible for creation of system and application disaster recovery documentation. Handle intranet page design, site maintenance and knowledge base articles. Produces flow charts, process diagrams and system architecture diagrams. Develops templates for technical documentation. Updates documentation based on environmental changes. Collaborates with internal clients on requirement specification documentation, test plans and reports. Handle various projects as requested. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in communications, technical writing, English, journalism or other related field 3+ years of technical writing, specifically in a high-tech field or other directly related experience A combination of education and experience may meet requirements Extensive knowledge of technical writing in a high-tech environment Knowledge of software development and change management processes, test and production environments, MS Office, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Knowledge of systems and network architecture principles and disaster recovery planning and methodology Proficient with the following tools: image editing, HTML, FTP, JavaScript, SharePoint, Adobe, etc. Ability to interview subject matter experts, perform analysis and tailor documentation content and format to appropriate audiences Requires strong planning, scheduling, research, and communication (written and oral) skillsEqual Opportunity Employer We have many opportunities both at the Bancorporation and at our affiliates.
