Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: First Citizens Bank IT TEAM LEAD ( DATA WAREHOUSE) Position Description This individual will lead a group of engineers, systems support analysts and developers responsible for FCB's data warehousing environment and business intelligence tools. Responsibilities include: resource management (assignment, monitoring, coaching and performance appraisal), project management, technical design creation and review, supervision of development, QA testing activities, deployment and production support activities (responding to tickets, improving application and system performance, maintenance, etc)The ideal candidate will have management/supervisory experience of small teams (5-7 people), technical experience in the development and support of a business intelligence and data warehouse solution and experience with directly managing small projects and the team's work portfolio. Technical infrastructure includes AIX, UDB, Cognos, Dimensional Modeling, SAS-coded ETL. The candidate should feel comfortable working in a matrix environment and partnering with peers, senior management and teams to align projects and tasks with business driven goals. Position Requirements Basic Qualifications.* Four-year college degree (BA, BS, BBA)* A minimum of 8 years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence. Other Required qualifications.* At least 4 years of DW/BI experience leading teams. * Experience should include work involving financial services or accounting systems. * Excellent communications skills (verbal and written). * Working knowledge of Development or Operations Framework methodologies, including ITIL, SDLC, etc. * Highly knowledgeable in system and data design.
