Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology area Strong knowledge and understanding of Information Technology control and process Familiarity of financial systems in a mainframe (Z/OS platform), UNIX, and Widows environment Demonstrated teamwork, analytical problem solving, and decision-making experience coupled with the ability to interact with team members and management at all levels. Organizational, presentation, written/ oral communication skills Professional information systems audit or security certifications (CISA or CISSP). Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to Information Technology. Working knowledge of laws, regulations and industry guidelines governing regulatory compliance. Responsibilities As part of the Business Line Assurance (BLA) function within Regulatory Risk and Compliance Management (RRCM), this individual will perform compliance program assurance review for the technology functions within Citizens Financial Group. Plan and participate in business line assurance reviews and targeted reviews. Support business units in the identification, assessment and resolution/mitigation of regulatory risks by performing independent reviews to validate the adequacy and effectiveness of the business unit's compliance program. Identify compliance program and regulatory self-testing deficiencies while providing risk based recommendations to business unit management. Review business unit adherence to the laws, regulation, and guidance applicable to the technology business units. Participate in communicating and reporting of results of assurance/targeted reviews to senior risk managers/business unit risk managers. Participate in development of reports reflecting results of assurance reviews to Risk Committees. Develop and maintain effective channels of communication with other risk and control functions and with senior/business unit risk managers. Participate in regulatory compliance related projects at the direction of the Compliance manager. Support RRCM in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective regulatory risk framework that includes an internal control structure, training, ongoing monitoring, and the assessment, resolution tracking and reporting of issues. Challenge output from the businesses' assessment of their regulatory compliance risks (and associated mitigation and actions plans) and to ensure that appropriate processes are in place to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor and report compliance risks (at all level).
