Additional information may be found at www.citigroup.com or www.citi.com Citi Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi") are equal opportunity employers M/F/D/V and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.Job Description: The Information Security Analyst will be a key member of the IT Information Security Team and participate in systems development projects with responsibility to ensure delivery of secure products into the business unit.  S/he will: ensure that proper technology risk considerations are addressed at each phase of the system development life cycle and provide proactive solutions to correct exposures or mitigate risk. This position will require the candidate to show security proficiency in the Mainframe/Distributed Environment as well as show the implementation of  information security concepts. The candidate will also need to understand project management methodology and demonstrate the ability to properly negotiate solutions to complex problems. This is accomplished by partnering with the internal development groups involved with development of products and services to meet the business needs of this Business Unit. The Information Security Analyst will also assist in the performance of Risk Assessments and provide technology expertise and will have the ability to analyze Information Security Policy and procedures and help implement them across all of IT.  This position may be filled in BlueAsh, Ohio, or Long Island City, New York.     Qualifications include BS/BA degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. Critical capabilities that are necessary for this position are: Minimum 5 years of technology experience with focus on technology risk and Information Security disciplines.  Minimum of 2 years development experience Minimum of 3 years experience in defined technology Understanding of all SDLC processes Industry Certification such as CISSP or other information security related certification a plus Presentation and Project Management experience Proven experience working under minimal supervision from management with a strong commitment to team participation.  Must have knowledge of a wide range of technologies and security best practices. Leadership skills and ability to work with and influence developers, development managers, Project managers, technology peers, and business contacts are required. Knowledge & experience in technology disciplines including distributed systems, database, various O.S., & networking is strongly desired. Excellent interpersonal, organizational,  and presentation skills, and a demonstrated sense of responsibility and  capability to deliver quickly.  Very strong written & verbal communication skills are necessary. Proven ability to prioritize business objectives and handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
