For more information, visit State Street's web site at www.statestreet.com IFS Hedge Fund Tax AVP -Responsible for the development of all aspects of IFS tax services including proprietary software development, business allocation, recruitment, staff development, internal policy and planning and product development. -Develop and maintain client, prime brokers and other client vendors (i.e. accounting and tax firm) relationships ensuring effective and professional communication is the standard for the client service team.-Responsible for the development and implementation of the trade processing model for all aspects of tax allocation production: , security setup, corporate actions, reconciliations, income and expense characterization. Director is also responsible for effective communication between IFS departments (i.e. NAV Group, Transfer Agency and the Trade Support Group).-Manage and deliver on client service requests which may include requests relating to additional services, relevant industry practice, advice on new projects, design and delivery of new reports.-Review all fund documents and ensure accurate set up on IFS systems and complete and accurate initialization of financial information for existing funds (including PPM, Arts and Mems, management agreement and IFS service contract).-Participate in developing and delivering of in-house training seminars/classes to NAV, TA, and Tax groupsDirectors have several external contacts, typically at senior levels within client organizations. Individual has considerable experience and knowledge of the Hedge Fund industry.
