A major International hedge fund with significant assets under management is looking for an individual who has built a solid track record of applying high frequency trading strategies for a trading desk involved in intra day trading strategies or for their own book. One of the main duties will involve mining intra day data on prices and volatility to model and predict market behaviour/ opportunities and transaction cost minimization. The most important requirement for this role is your proven track record of positive PnL. The actual asset class you have been exposed to is of less importance. The ideal candidate will understand the technology challenges as well as strategic methods that have resulted in strong and consistent sharpe ratios.
