HedgeFund-NYC-Quantitative- Quant Algorithms- Statistics- Trader - Derivative algorithmic statistical trading - A leading Hedgefund is looking to hire a quantitative trader onto their quants algorithm analytics team. Primary responsibilities will include assisting senior traders in trade execution, communicating with counterparties, booking trades, monitoring markets and positions, and assisting with technology projects. The role is to support the trader on the desk, helping to perform the pricing and structuring of products as well as helping traders to manage daily positions and risks and develop front office tools to improve trading efficiency. Cutting edge market structure research is also involved. The role will cover programming, statistics, game theory, and trading.The ideal candidate should have very strong quantitative skills with at least a masters in a mathematical degree or a PhD without any prior experience. Candidates with a background in trading, financial engineering or quants will also be considered. Expertise in C/ C++ required.
