Job Status: Full Time, Employee Relevant Work Experience: 10+ to 15 Years Education: Bachelor's Degree Job Category: Banking/Real Estate/Mortgage Professionals Contact Information Company: CORESTAFF Services Email: Apply by Email Job Description Global Relationship Manager- Banking Large financial institution located in Downtown Houston is looking for a Global Relationship Manager.The Global Relationship Manager will identify and institute a dialogue with members of the clients’ specialist teams.  The GRM will coordinate introductions of  company's team members to client’s specialists handling capital markets activities, foreign exchange, currency and interest rate hedging, mergers and acquisitions, leasing, securitization, and cash management activities.  The GRM will also actively seek opportunities to match company's Asian and European product set with the needs of the assigned client base.The Global Relationship Manager will continually work to broaden and deepen the bank’s relationship with each portfolio customer in the assigned geographic area.  The GRM will seek to form a dialogue with senior members of the client’s treasury staff with a goal of developing contact between the bank’s senior management and senior members of the client’s management team.  The Global Relationship Manager will also maintain a list of all potential prospects within the assigned geographic area.  These prospects should be qualified based on their credit worthiness and credit requirements as well as their “fit” with the product set.  The GRM should maintain a regular calling effort aimed at the pool of qualified prospects.  The GRM acts as the first line of defense in monitoring the creditworthiness of the client.  In the course of maintaining a dialogue with the client the GRM will inquire as to the client’s credit standing and changes or potential changes in credit quality and report such changes in the form of a Call Memo or Memo to File. The GRM will review and endorse all credit memoranda and applications created by the Portfolio Management Group that result in increased or restructured exposure to clients.  They will be involved in the presentation and discussion, with credit personnel, of all client applications for new business.Experienced banker with business origination, credit and product training, preferably with money center banks. A well developed network of professional peers and track record of achievements with prior portfolio assignments.BA; minimum 10 years banking experience; MBA or commensurate combination of experience and education. Minimum 5 years experience in the public utility sector.Full time/direct hire opportunity.
