Fraud Specialist 2

Job Description: Do you like helping people find solutions and solving their problems? Wells Fargo Card Services and Consumer Lending, a division of the Wells Fargo Home and Consumer Finance Group, has openings for Fraud Specialist 2's who provide exceptional customer service and identify potential fraudulent activity on Wells Fargo credit/debit card customer accounts. As a Fraud Representative you will spend nearly 100% of your time on the phone responding to routine inquiries and questions from customers regarding banking products and financial services. The working environment is professional, fun, and energized with a casual dress code. Additionally, you will be working in a call center which requires a very structured work day. In our Four week paid training program you will learn about company products, services, policies and procedures along with operating systems and how to apply this knowledge when responding to customer inquiries. Training hours are 8am-5pm/ Mon-Friday. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service, problem solving and listening skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment.**MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS - SOME SHIFTS UNTIL 9PM.Job duties: - Reviews customer transactions to detect potential fraud situations. - Researches and analyzes moderately complex account activity using various resources and tools, including multiple online systems. - Identifies potential fraudulent activity and takes appropriate action. - Contacts customers and/or vendors to verify legitimate transactions/information. -Take inbound and make outbound calls to customers, working on a headset and a automated dialer system. - May maintain fraudulent activity files/records/databases, reconcile and summarize fraud losses and produce routine management reports. - Reviews more complex/unique situations with senior department staff. - May assist in ongoing production and workflow improvement efforts and participate in small projects. Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of fraud, customer service, or banking experience. Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment. Advanced level of experience dealing effectively and courteously with internal/external customers. Organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a high production, call center environment. Identify detailed information, cross-reference data and take action accordingly. Adapt to a fast paced setting, navigating through multiple computer systems.
