Job Description

 

Our client is the premier residential real estate franchisor in the world with operations in more than 70 nations and territories worldwide.

 

General Position Summary:

Position will be responsible for residential brokerage acquisitions incorporating financial modeling and investment strategy, valuation and process management.   The position will also entail consulting with local owners/franchisees to improve their operations and top and bottom lines.

 

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

1. In collaboration with the Regional President and along with local franchise owners responsible for identification and acquisition of residential brokerage operations to enhance investment opportunities for the company and the local franchisee. 

2. Perform financial analysis, modeling, valuations and performance measurements.

3. Lead response and negotiation efforts through execution of purchase and sale agreement, due diligence, closing and post closing activities.

4. Development and implementation of strategic business plan for acquisitions.

5. Consulting with local owners/franchisees to improve their operations and top and bottom lines.

 

Secondary Functions:

1. Other duties as assigned.

 

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus.

2. Outgoing personality.

3. 3-5 years experience in real estate or other related consulting, acquisitions and/or dispositions.

4. Financial modeling skills using Excel.

5. Understanding and experience negotiating purchase and sale agreements.

6. Ability to manage many acquisition deals at one time.

7. Ability to analyze a residential brokerage business and make solid recommendations to improve efficiencies, revenues and income.

8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.

9. Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
