OUTSTANDING CAREER OPPORTUNITY FOR FOREIGN EXCHANGE SALES ADVISER TO JOIN GROWING BANKING INSTITUTION IN SAN FRANCISCO City National Bank, California’s Premier Business and Private Bank, has an exciting opportunity available in the Walnut Creek office working within the Foreign Exchange Sales Group. Primary responsibilities will be to attain and surpass revenue production targets via prospecting and developing direct sales of foreign exchange product and services (spot, forwards, NDF, Exotic options and cross currency swap solutions) to new and existing clients while ensuring the highest level of service quality to all client segments. Secondarily, responsible for cross selling trade finance, export finance and interest rate derivative products and services. The incumbent will also support business development activities of CNB line units and proactively develop sales strategies to aggressively increase the sale and use of international products and services for the designated customer and prospect base. Will coordinate sales efforts with commercial, private and retail banking relationship managers and international department team members. Maintain current knowledge of all international products and services offered by CNB and in the market. *Minimum of 5 years experience in foreign exchange sales and advisory experience in a banking environment required. Bachelor's degree with a background in finance/economics preferred. Advanced foreign exchange product knowledge including client sales and servicing. Ability to work in a high pressure, time sensitive environment. Strong business planning and time management skills. Proven ability to understand client requirements, handle objections and deliver tailored proposals to win new business. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, Outlook). Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interact effectively with Bank personnel and clients. Domestic banking experience a plus.
