Financial Data Analyst - Hedge Fund

Our client, a prestigious Hedge Fund/Asset Manager, is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join their team based in Greenwich, CT.

Position Details/Responsibilities:

The incumbent will have 5-10 years financial data experience with both fixed income and equity products. He/she will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science. The incumbent is responsible keeping accuracy and integrity of security master data by utilizing in-house database tools and conducting independent research. The incumbent will work closely with developers and researchers to address data queries and report on research findings. Additionally, the Analyst will check all data exceptions generated by in-house systems or reported by employees, assist in defining the tools and processes necessary in checking data automatically, and assisting database developers and administrators with developing proper data loading programs and database design. The incumbent will have the ability to understand already written scripts and the ability to write simple scripts in Perl, Python and Java. Familiarity with relational databases and SQL is required as well.

Base salary to $90K
