Financial Center Assistant Manager - Wellesley, MA (Citibank North America)

Support Financial Center Manager in achieving sales and audit goals by ensuring outstanding operational and administrative control, and service delivery. In addition, the Financial Center Operations Manager directly manages the Financial Associates (tellers). Position Responsibilities: • Create and maintain operational integrity and control in Financial Center. Develop action plans to improve operational controls, mitigate losses, and ensure a consistent and superior client experience. • Implement Management Self Assessments (MSA) ensuring integrity; oversee audit and compliance activities in the Financial Center within required timeframes. • Monitor and adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets. • Resolve escalated customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively. • Drive efforts in the Financial Center to identify and implement service behaviors that improve the overall customer experience. • Support sales/service activities within the Financial Center by participating in seminars, micro-marketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc. • Provide continuous direction, support, and feedback to the Financial Associates. • Provide ongoing coaching to Financial Associates to effectively identify referral opportunities. • Serve as primary contact in Financial Center with regard to issues involving technology, operations, control and risk. • Partner with Human Resources and Financial Center Managers to effectively manage a full range of people management responsibilities including hiring, performance management, and compensation. • Identify and develop high potential employees in order to build operational bench strength. • Implement programs that recognize, reward, and reinforce outstanding employee performance. • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience • Three or more years of operations experience • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence others • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical/problem solving skills • Proven ability to improve processes and manage projects • Financial/business acumen • Superior organizational skills
