Financial Broker
The Business Development Representative is a professional sales position. This individual is responsible for producing new business and managing existing client relationships for a firm that provides investment consultation to the public on mutual funds, variable and fixed annuities, stocks and bonds. This individual will prospect, cultivate new relationships and manage a high degree of customer satisfaction with clients.
We are an established company of ten years, located in Kirkwood Missouri. If you are self-motivated, sales-oriented and experienced in the financial services industry, we look forward to hearing from you.

Essential Job Functions:
 Initiate the sales process and create a pipeline of highly qualified prospective clients through various marketing activities. Work these relationships through the sales process. Define and monitor successful sales and marketing strategies in cooperation with senior management. Provide proactive client support by contacting current clients to inform them of the status of their investment, evaluate their needs and recommend the appropriate investment vehicle. Fulfill client needs throughout lifespan of relationship.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
 Understanding of a professional consultative selling process. Excellent written and verbal skills (clear and articulate communications). Knowledge of customer service and broker practices / procedures. Ability to think strategically (viewing the entire scenario) and execute tactically (work management and completion skills). Must be responsible, dependable, organized, accountable and possess a strong work ethic. Computer Proficiency/MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), contact management software.

Education/Experience: Associates Degree or accreditation from associated trade school preferred 7+ years proven sales experience selling services and intangibles Knowledge of financial industry Series 7 required (or willingness to obtain Series 7 certification upon employment)
