FileNet/RightFax Administrator

This is a new full-time position on the Infrastructure team in the Content and Workflow Services department of US Bank Technology and Operations Services.  US Bank uses Captaris and IBM/FileNet systems to provide enterprise level fax and content management services to departments throughout the organization.  Many of these systems are customized and/or integrated with custom systems to provide specialized functionality to business lines and customers.  This position will provide server support for these applications and will develop an in-depth knowledge of the applications and the servers.  Many of the custom applications use vendor software and this position will also support that software on these servers.   More specifically the person in this position:Provides technical direction and guidance, planning and monitoring for application software.   Analyzes project requirements and recommends enhancements to fit architectural strategies.  Installs, configures and maintains application software in a large enterprise oriented environment.  Design and implement complex application configurations.  Monitors application software and hardware to ensure system availability.   Takes on-call support rotations and handles incident resolution, problem determination and resolution during that time.  Prepares and maintains system documentation and operating procedures  Your Career is Here.These are required qualifications.  College degree or equivalent work experience.  2+ years experience working with custom developed server based applications.  Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems  Experience with WebSphere based, or other application server based, application software.  Experience with IBM/FileNet and/or Captaris/RightFax. Preferred Qualifications There are preferred but not required qualifications..  Experience administering, installing and maintaining custom software applications on mid-range systems.  Experience working with development teams on issues originating with custom software applications  Ability to organize, direct and lead large projects  Excellent technical documentation and communication skills  Demonstrated ability to analyze technical information, to evaluate products, services and vendors, and to make recommendations.  Experience designing complex software configurations.  Monitored mid-range server software and hardware to ensure system availability.  Evaluated, built, tested and migrated systems software for the mid-range servers.  Provided incident resolution, problem determination and resolution service.  Prepared and maintained system documentation and operating procedures.  Ability to make forecasts and recommendations to ensure data and server capacity requirements are met  Optional Qualifications These are optional, nice to have qualifications.  Experience with LDAP and/or applications integrated with LDAP, either eDirectory or Active Directory.  Experience with languages such as Unix Shell scripting and/or VB Script   Experience programming in Visual Basic or .NET  Experience with clustered systems and shared storage (SAN or NAS)  Knowledge and/or experience with UNIX   Email this Job to a Friend View all opportunities Job TItle: FileNet/RightFax Administrator Location: Saint Paul, MN 55101 Job Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)
