Experienced Mortgage Loan Officer

Responsibilities include:

· Origination of residential mortgages using an array of company programs.

· Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and lending policies.

· Secure loan applications through pro-active contact with local REALTORS.

· Ensure loan applications are complete and accurate according to policy.

· Interview applicants, examine applications, evaluate and recommend the best available programs for each application--whether they be first mortgages, second mortgages, lines of credit, or multi-family/commercial loans.

· Staying informed of trends and developments in the mortgage market as well as the changing rules and regulations.

· Corresponding with applicants, creditors processors and underwriters to resolve issues throughout loan process.

 

Qualifications desired:

· Mortgage banking/brokering experience required

· Strong computer and marketing skills--Point software knowledge a plus 

· Good knowledge of the local housing market

· Outgoing and vibrant personality.
