Equity High Frequency Statistical Arbitrage Trader

UK based Hedge Fund with offices in NY, Chicago, Boston is looking for a trader for its high frequency statistical arbitrage desk. The fund has recently hired a team of traders, quants and developers to move into the automated trading space and is keen to add talented traders with strategies they believe can add significantly to their PnL. Currently they are focused on arbitraging the global equity markets but hope to soon move into FX and commodities.  The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years trading your own high frequency quant strategy in a Hedge Fund or Investment Bank. Experience in equities is preferable but FX and commodities will be considered. Your strategy should have made significant returns with a sharp ratio north of 3.5. Ideally to start with the fund is keen to back the trader and their strategies with the sort of asset allocation they believe will generate at least 10M USD PnL. In addition to a track record you should also have a first class degree (preferably higher degree) in a scientific discipline from a top school. You should also have excellent programming skills in either C++ or Java and also be able to programme in VBA. You should also have strong familiarity with the main statistical packages and Matlab.
