Qualifications Demonstrate outstanding customer service Understand and practice dual control Maintain appropriate cash drawer levels Balance a cash drawer daily while staying within set policy guidelines regarding overages and shortages Process customer transactions courteously, timely and accurately Issue and redeem travelers checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashiers checks Determine the necessity of placing a hold on items being presented for deposit Remove deposits from the night depository and assist in the balancing of the ATM and vault Resolve customer service issues to assure customer satisfaction and retention Possess thorough knowledge of Woodforest bank products and services Familiarity with bank products and services Recognize selling opportunities and effectively cross-sell bank products and services Analyze customer’s needs and assist in the selection and opening of new accounts, IRA’s, certificates of deposit, debit cards and other bank products Refer potential customers to Woodforest Financial Services when appropriate Be proficient in policies, procedures and bank regulations pertaining to teller and new account transactions Participate in community activities to foster and develop customer relations Benefits Woodforest offers medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid sick time, paid vacation, flexible hours, including both day and night shifts, and an opportunity to invest in your future through a 401k plan.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
