Electronic Banking Specialist - Ebanking - Small Commercial Bank

Monument Bank is a small, young and growing Commercial Bank in downtown Bethesda, Maryland, convenient to Washington DC and most of Montgomery County with both the Metro and parking facilities on our block.  We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits including parking subsidy, and a friendly, comfortable work environment.  We are seeking a mid-level professional with at least three years of related experience in a banking environment. 

 

GENERAL FUNCTION

 

Possesses in-depth knowledge of Bank’s full range of electronic banking products, and provides personalized customer service and support for all e-banking products. Processing and reporting of all e-banking functions.

 

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·  Provides customer liaison for our electronic banking software products and third party interfaces

·  Describes and promotes e-banking products to customers, to include:  Online banking, live wire notification, express deposit, bill pay services.

·  Evaluate client needs and suggest/employ appropriate solutions

·  Processes new enrollments on all electronic banking products

·  Collect client data as required for product set up and system functionality; coordinate data distribution

·  Maintain on-going customer relations; support clients closely during implementation of new products / services, advise clients on product usage, and participate in client training programs

·  Communicates with vendor technical support staff concerning problems related to any product

·  Provides daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per protocol
Develop application / industry knowledge by attending related trainings and researching products to gain subject-matter expertise

·  Carry out such other duties as may be assigned or requested as they relate to the Bank and its functions



 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES

 

·  Minimum three years electronic banking experience required; operations and data processing a plus

·  Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ebanking systems and programs

·  Superior customer service skills

·  Effective verbal and written communication

·  Ability to operate and use all office equipment
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English well
Ability to work independently and accurately
Must be organized and detail oriented

·  Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred (finance, accounting, business or economics)

 

 

 

COMPLIANCE

 

Employee must comply with all requirements, policies and procedures of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and attend all mandatory BSA training as needed for this position.  Additionally, employee will be required to complete other compliance and regulatory training as specified by management, not limited to BSA.
