Responsible for supporting the research, documentation and approval process related to identifying new opportunities, trends, and services to deliver current treasury management strategies to customers.
 
Document new trends, new services and/or new features for services and communicate through white paper, PowerPoint or meeting with appropriate units.
 
Solicit feedback on the suggested new trends, services, and/or new features interfacing with Market Managers, Sales, and their customers, as appropriate, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations and Information Technology Group to enable thorough documentation of the new idea.
 
Complete business cases on a proforma basis and a market analysis documenting needs and requirements.  Document the value proposition of these services.  Identify 3 or 4 filter mechanisms for evaluation (segmentation, industry stratification). 
 
Analyze and document Cost-Benefit Analysis including cost and revenue projections based on input from various units and analysis of Bank and industry data.
 
Support Bank efforts to package products to create new bundles of services for particular market segment/niche markets.
 
Support Market Managers and their staff in supporting designated customers need/desire to understand the payment industry and how it is changing so that the customer can use the information for their payment strategies.
 
Assist with designated product challenges where potential customers are interested in using a Service Union Bank does not offer at all or does not offer as requested and explore if there is an acceptable solution.
 
Actively ensure compliance with Union Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures.
 
Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training.
 



Typically requires a college degree, with graduate study a plus
7+ years experience in Treasury Management services with AAP and CTP certificate desired
Strong financial analysis and ability to forecast emerging markets is a must

Understanding of risk and compliance issues
Experience writing White Papers
Various desktop computer skills
