Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM Qualifications Bachelors Degree required, preferably in marketing. M.B.A. in marketing is preferred. Industry experience critical (merchant acquiring, card networks). 5 years experience in managing strategic marketing programs in a business to business environment required. Strategic identification of new market opportunities. Product conception through launch. Track record of engaging leaders across the enterprise in supporting the marketing strategy. Identification of a number of new market opportunities ahead of competitors. Recommending and receiving approval from senior management to implement a breakthrough marketing program. Anticipated or quickly identified problems in executing a major marketing program and altered program's execution to achieve success. Drive for results – a passion to deliver outstanding results. Building business intelligence – constantly seeks business critical information to increase opportunities and minimize threats. Analytical thinking – anticipates business issues and develops future business plans. Leveraging relationships – develops networks and maximizes relationships to achieve the business strategy. Responsibilities The RBS Lynk Director – Product Marketing is focused on identifying, recommending and overseeing strategies and tactics for capturing the best market opportunities by creating and managing the company's core point-of-sale and card-not-present product and service offerings. Included in this function is the overall product life cycle responsibility and financial performance goals for all core market-facing products and services, including related terminal products. To achieve this goal, the Director takes overall responsibility for the collection, analysis and communication of ongoing market intelligence to include customer and industry needs, competitor positioning / offerings / capabilities, as well as input from Sales and other stakeholders for each merchant target. The Director will oversee the objectives, plans and progress of the specific projects to identify gaps in execution and opportunities for greater synergy, revenue expansion and / or cost reduction. The key metrics of success will be the overall financial performance of the products and services being managed, and the efficiency of the processes that are established and managed by the Director in bringing these solutions to the marketplace.
