Director -Production Delivery (Enterprise systems)

Our client -a global and well respected employer in the Bay area are seeking a Director of Enterprise Technology Services.

This person will manage the implementation of new and evolving services across global Infrastructure including, all communications, server, and storage technologies.
This individual will manage a team of 30+ employees and external vendor resources to provide national, regional, and global IT solutions.
The individual must have a background in managing multi layer global teams in the areas of networks/servers/telephony/storage

Key Job Responsibilities: Manage the planning, execution, and transition to operations of infrastructure servicesManage, meet and exceed agreed and expected customer service levelsManage and direct staff positioned globally includingSetting policies and standards and ensuring their observanceSetting key tasks and objectivesEnsuring effective professional relationships are established and maintained between key Infrastructure teams, e.g. Engineering, Operations, Security, and the Project Management Office.Ensuring documentation, training and cross training in all supported products/toolsManage the department budget to ensure financial objectives are achieved while maintaining agreed service levels.  Be available 7x24 for production escalation as a participant in XXX’s overall escalation process

 

Skills & Requirements:

· Management experience over multi-layer technical teams spanning more than one location and country.

· An ability to lead through influence and manage cross functional and matrixed teams.

· Can demonstrate broad technical knowledge in a minimum of two of the responsible technology areas, i.e., network, telephony, server, storage, collaboration, and video conferencing.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proven ability to develop staff, interact positively with clients and vendors, and work positively with peers and senior management of all types

· Position requires international travel to global offices as needed
