Director Product Management

Description:Position Summary: First Data Gift Card is a global leader in the processing of both merchant issued and association issued prepaid card products, supporting many of the worlds premier brands. The Director, Product Development & Management role will be responsible for leading innovation of First Datas association-branded prepaid product offerings, creating compelling new opportunities for our clients and for the company. This role will emphasize the ideation and creation of industry-leading association-branded prepaid products and the introduction of those products into First Data distribution channels.Job Duties: PRODUCT MANAGEMENT: Manage, track and report product performance throughout its lifecycle including product strategy, product planning and issue prioritization. Develop sales tools, positioning and value proposition. Design and execute analysis that drives product pricing and bundling. Manage internal product communication and information. PRODUCT IDEATION: Create new business opportunities, or new markets for existing product set by managing product ideation process. Responsibilities include identification of appropriate markets, market research analysis, business case creation and distribution strategies. Manage presentation of concepts and ideas to senior and executive leadership.Qualifications:Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience required. MBA preferred. Experience in reporting, database theory, SQL or other database query techniques, and technology product development a plus. Minimum 5 years experience in product management and/or project management. Prior experience in vendor and project management required.
