Direct Lending Consultant
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Solicits prospective borrowers for home loans. Determines appropriate type of sales pitch to be most effective with each customer. Takes loan applications. Asks appropriate questions to uncover potential future problems early in application process. Determines how to best collect necessary information to ensure smooth production of loan applications Restructures and resells previous locks that have run into problems during processing. Determines the changes can be made to the loan that will satisfy outstanding conditions but still provide value to the customer. Identifies and analyzes borrowers needs and offer/sell products to satisfy their needs. Determine which products will best fit each customer and their circumstances. Respond to all inquires regarding conditions, specifications and status of loan. Balance daily schedule to allow for 15 new leads per day. Decide how to manage workload to maintain steady pipeline of leads and new loans.
