To make your mark as Analytics and Database Administrator you will have the following duties: Analyzing and quantifying copious amounts of used vehicle sales data then conveying the results in a clear and concise manner with recommendations to the Remarketing management team Acting as a change agent to improve business processes specifically associated with technology related projects and Application Service Providers Acting as primary contact for ad hoc data mining and reporting requests Researching and continually improving Remarketing analytic and reporting capabilities for senior management Managing internal and external projects relating to pricing strategies and Remarketing technology Developing analytics tools to monitor performance levels of Application Service Providers (AutoVIN, AutoIMS, Manheim, and ADESA) Creating Business and Functional Requirements for Remarketing initiatives Acting as the Subject Matter Expert and Data Steward for the Remarketing database The candidate who fills this position will work a 9/80 alternative work schedule which means working 80 hours over nine calendar days, with the tenth day off. The day off will be alternating Fridays.TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates must have: Demonstrated analytical/quantitative skills. Strong communication skills; written and verbal. Proficiency in MS Access and Excel is required. Ability to prioritizes/multitask numerous projects. Strong desire to learn about automobiles and the automotive remarketing industry. Proficiency in Hyperion Business Intelligence tools and OneSource is highly desirable; query writing and dashboard building. Experience working with technology related projects, highly desirable. Mastery of MS Access query writing, database development, and VBA programming preferred. Mastery of MS Excel advanced formula writing and VBA programming preferred. BA/BS required, preferably in an analytical field of study. Occasional travel throughout the U.S. is required.
