COCC is currently seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our Deposits Team. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues pertaining to our clients’ deposit operations and related banking products. This individual will also test new product releases, assist with implementations and process special requests.
Primary Responsibilities:Respond to high volume of software support requests via phone and emailResearch and troubleshoot software issues, forward special requests to Programming Dept.Review completed requests prior to delivery; update system with resolutionDocument system and / or procedural changes and communicate information to clientAssist with new product release testing and implementations Conduct training for new hires, internal staff and clientsWork on assigned projects, and respond to incoming calls as necessary
Position Qualifications:Four year degree in business, IT or related fieldMinimum two years operations / technical experience within banking industry Excellent customer service skills; effective written and oral communication abilitiesSolid presentation skills; capable of presenting to senior level personnelAbility to work independently; strong problem solving skillsMS Office proficiency; knowledge of SQL or similar language a plusExperience with TCBS or TCCUS softwareAbility to travel up to 25% of the time or as needed for client visits Exposure to any of the following banking procedures highly desirable; ACH and Inclearing processing and balancing- IRA/Retirement processing and reporting- Year End and Regulatory Reporting (FDIC, OTS, NCUA)- Abandoned Property processing- Checking, Savings and Time Deposit/CD processing- General Deposit operational processing and reporting- Teller processing and balancing- Interest Crediting and Accrual Calculations
