The Credit Department is an integral part of the Commercial Lending function. Its members are trained professionals and its function is to provide detailed reports outlining the financial condition of prospective and present borrowers. This is a vital part of the process of arriving at lending decisions that provide working capital to generate economic growth in the community and represent profitable business and reasonable credit risk for Rockland Trust.


Analysts arrive at their recommendations through analyzing financial reports and other information. Lending recommendations are based on the complete analysis of a businesses’ financial condition, cash flow, capacity, collateral and its ability to repay. The position requires at least three years direct experience in commercial analysis, strong analytical skills and familiarity with computerized spreadsheets and Microsoft Windows applications. Excellent report writing skills are essential.
