Community Reinvestment Act Data Analyst
purpose of position:
To be responsible for using CRA Wiz and other computer software to establish and maintain databases for the Bank’s CRA and Home Mortgage Disclosure “HMDA” reportable loans for both internal and external reporting and monitoring purposes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Collect, analyze, monitor and report on CRA loans and investments to senior management and bank regulators.
2. Assist Division Head in preparing for CRA examinations administered by the FDIC and NYS Banking Department.
3. Prepare demographic data and reports for various geographies as part of the Bank’s expansion program.
4. Participate as needed in business development related events such as small business expos and mortgage fairs sponsored by community based organizations and municipal agencies.
5. Represent the Bank at various community based events to increase the Bank’s visibility and image within the community.
6. Perform administrative duties as directed by manager.
REQUIREMENT:
1. BA/BS required or equivalent experience.
2. A minimum of two (2) years experience working on CRA related projects.
3. Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access & Powerpoint.
4. Proficiency with CRA Wiz software.
5. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
