Duties include counseling loan officers on valuation issues, and ensuring compliance with appraisal standards and company policy.*Degree in Business, Finance or related field is required, but work experience may be substituted for degree*Certified General Real Estate Appraisal License issued by the State is required*Designated Member of Appraisal Institute (MAI) is preferred*5+ years of commercial narrative report writing is preferred*Excellent oral and written communication skills*Strong decision-making skills based on assessments*Superior organizational skills and ability to manage work flow to meet departmental objectives*Outstanding customer service skills*Proficient knowledge of standard office equipment, PC skills, and Microsoft Products Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
