Commercial Real Estate Due Diligence Associate
SUMMARY:
This position requires an understanding of commercial real estate, commercial real estate loans, and the related legal and third party documents (Notes, Mortgages, Appraisals, Environmental Reports, Engineering Reports, Property Insurance Certificates, Title Policies, Abstracts of Title, Note and Mortgage Modifications, etc.). Some travel is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Review existing commercial real estate loan files to capture the data required to determine the salient characteristics of a loan including its collateral, related lien priority, completeness of the loan documents and lender’s or third party’s collateral valuation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
General
Excellent written and verbal language skills; strong knowledge/understanding of commercial real estate.
Technical knowledge
Experience with entering data into a database and basic knowledge of Excel and Word.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
2 years experience originating, servicing or closing commercial real estate loans.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: English
