Collector Part Time and Full Time

Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corporation, a top 8 national wholesale mortgage lender in the country is currently expanding their Midvale and Sharonville offices. Part-time and full-time opportunities available.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Perform collection calls on delinquent mortgage accounts.

Contact 30, 60 and 90 day delinquent borrowers for payments and/or assess their individual circumstances to pre-qualify them for Loss Mitigation options. Ability to calculate and set terms for informal and formal repayment plans Educate borrowers on Mortgage Modifications, Partial Claims and Pre-foreclosure Sales Educate new borrowers on payment options, late fee date and customer service offerings. Encourage current month borrowers to have their payment made prior to the last day of the month. Send system generated letters to delinquent customers.    Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.



 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  Minimum 3 years experience in Collections or Loss Mitigation Excellent oral communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external customers Detail oriented Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Working knowledge of computer software programs to include Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Internet and Microsoft Outlook High school diploma or GED College courses a plus Previous collections exp preferred

·   Must be able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for an extended period

·   Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs

·   Must be able to listen and speak clearly on telephone
