Collections Coordinator

The position, based in Wheeling, WV, is responsible for various aspects of Accounts Receivable, including collections, cash application, reporting, etc. ResponsibilitiesDriving collections on invoices, including resolving accounts receivable issues with customersInvestigates and analyzes cash exceptions and deductions and initiates action to resolve to resolve such items in a timely manner. Perform new customer account set up.Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years industry experience required. Proven ability to quickly gain organizational knowledge, identify key personnel (inside and outside the business), and understand organizational aims and objectives. Proven ability and experience in a position requiring the strictest confidentiality and discretion. Well-developed written, oral, interpersonal and negotiation communication skills. Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimum direction. Ability to work effectively with top level management. Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients. Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.Excellent MS Office skills (must have Word, Excel, and Access)Typing at least 50 wpm. Excellent organizational abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy a must. Good problem solving ability.Working experience with spreadsheets and database management, financial management systems, experience with PeopleSoft desired.Excellent verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.Adaptability to conflicting deadlines and/or priorities established by the company, department, or client.Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports.
