Collateral Assistant

An International Bank located in New York City is currently seeking a Collateral Assistant.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: review credit agreements, facility letters and/or term sheets and summarize all pertinent material relating to collateral and administration of the accounts.  Prepare or assist in the development of a customer spreadsheet for each customer.  Review letters of credit, purchase and sales contracts, as necessary, and any other documentation required for new and existing transaction to ensure compliance to the terms outlined in the approved Credit Facility.  Perform daily or as-needed reconciliation of outstanding between customer spreadsheets and the banks systems.  Analyze financial statements to confirm adherence to open account receivable guidelines.  Review financial statements for existing customers, calculating covenants/financial guidelines, and inputting into credit tracking system.  Update existing database for new customers, expired/cancelled facilities, and amendments.  Qualified candidates must have a minimum of three years previous experience in a bank.  Must possess strong Excel skills.
