Client Advisor 5 - Wealthy

The Client Advisor 5 will manage a book of approximately 130 existing investment relationships in Williamsburg.  This book is our largest and most complex in the area falling primarily in the Wealthy segment (defined as clients with total investable assets between $500m and $3MM or annual individual client revenue of $5m). In addition, the position will acquire new clients through targeted prospecting and strong relationships with clients, referral sources, Centers of Influence and Wealth Strategists.  Will coordinate relationships with other SunTrust product specialists, including investments, trust, mortgage, insurance, etc., using a team approach in delivering solutions to clients' financial needs and to increase wallet share with assigned clients. Proper licenses including Series 7, Series 66, and Insurance licenses are required.  (or must be obtained within 12 months of assuming position)  The Client Advisor will also ensure that appropriate continuing education requirements are met where needed. Typically manages a portfolio of Wealthy clients with total Assets Under Management of more than $100 MM, along with total loans and deposits of more than $45MM.Minimum Requirements:  Undergraduate degree with 8 years of sales experience in relationship management within the financial services industry. Demonstrates very strong investment knowledge and the ability to deliver strong financial planning via Financial Profiles Forecaster software.  Has solid credit knowledge to personally deliver medium to complex credit solutions for commercial and consumer credits. Possesses strong Deposit/General Banking knowledge to personally or with support from appropriate specialists deliver standard bank products such as deposits, credit cards, mortgages, etc. to assigned clients.  Strong knowledge of all wealth management products and services.  Very strong consultative sales skills with the ability to sell a wide range of products and services.  Very strong Client Service Skills.  Assertive in asking for business, developing leads and developing referral sources which includes Centers of Influence.
