Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: First Citizens Bank Check Processing Clerk / Part-time 30hrs w/full benefits Position Description Responsible for the daily workflow and item processing tasks within the department which may include any of the following: receiving incoming proof work from branches, preparing documents for sorter machine, operating check sorter machines, performing amount key/codeline completion and balancing functions within Imagemark system, completing miscellaneous bookkeeping and reject repair tasks. Other responsibilities may include pulling cash letters and end of night balancing as well as any additional tasks needed. Ensure that all work has been completed and departmental deadlines are met. Analyze and recommend changes to systems and operational procedures that will improve the delivery of service to customers. Resolve any problems, issues or questions to ensure customer satisfaction and to maintain relationships with other client banks. Comply with all federal, state and other governmental rules and regulations. Position Requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS* High School diploma or GED* Less than 1 yr work experienceOTHER QUALIFICATIONS* Six months work experience preferably in Item Processing environment* Basic computer (Windows) and machine experience* Basic data entry experience* Ability to lift up to 12 lbs and push up to 250 lbs* Ability to sit, stand and/or key for long periods of time* Attention to detail and critical thinking skills* Ability to make minor repairs to equipment (i.e., change belts, ribbons, etc.)* Ability to read English language and understand written materials* Ability to work under pressure, quickly and accurately, to accomplish established standards* Possess hand/eye coordination Apply Online
