Central Processing Representative

Neighbors Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated individual that can excel in a fast paced team environment.  The Central Processing Representative Position is located at the main office in South St. Louis County off South Lindbergh.  The applicant must have two or more years experience as an underwriter in a credit union or financial institution that participates in a Risk-Based Lending environment.  The applicant must be able to provide outstanding service to both the external and internal member, must have good time management skills, be able to meet daily deadlines and able to work rotating Saturdays.  The applicant must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Prepare, review and decision all consumer loans within lending limits for approval and/or denial while adhering to established credit union policies and guidelines.Process, decision and disburse loans for all indirect lending.Assessing risk, based on application, credit report, and loan characteristics.Structure risk based loans based on the application, credit report and loan characteristics.Audit loans for compliance with Federal and State Regulations.Complete various reports assigned by the Central Processing Manager.Cross-sell/recommend additional products or services that would be in the members best financial interest.Possess the ability to work as a team.Ability to stay late until deadlines are completed.
