A challenging opportunity currently exists in our fast-paced Corporate Headquarters in Bridgewater, NJ for a Call Center Representative. This position is responsible for providing account information, responding to customer inquiries, researching and resolving complaints and the attainment of sales and referral goals.
Primary Duties Include:Serve membership by providing service and information in a pleasant, efficient manner via telephone, mail, and other correspondence, including:Researching and solving member questions, problems, and complaints concerning Credit Union accountsAccount verificationsCross-selling Credit Union servicesProcessing various transactions on member accountsTransferring member to appropriate department or person Assist members with basic questions regarding their loans. Responsible for researching member inquiries to ensure proper follow-up and member satisfaction.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent related business experience
Experience: Banking or Credit Union experience is a plusMinimum six months direct customer service experience in a banking/financial/retail sales or customer service environmentAbility to perform clerical and statistical work; requiring speed and accuracyWorking knowledge of computer software programsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organizational skills
