Call Center/Member Service Representative

Advancial Federal Credit Union, with headquarters located in Uptown Dallas, is a full service financial institution providing innovative financial solutions to individuals and select employee groups.  We currently have an opening for a Member Service Representative in our Call Center.

 

Responsibilities:  The applicants will be responsible for answering telephones, emails and process daily transactions (or services) for members such as balance inquiry, transferring funds, history information, stop payments or photocopy of check(s), etc. This includes research and resolution of member concerns.  Open and close new accounts, address changes, request wire transfers, stop payments, and order checks.  Process return mail, post deposits, loan payments and credit card payments.  Issue debit cards, add and change PIN #’s, and troubleshoot on-line banking.

 

Take loan applications and enter phone/mail/fax loan applications into the loan processing system.  Answer questions regarding loan product rates and terms, etc.  Ask open ended questions to encourage more loan applications and cross-sell a wide array of credit union products.

 

Requirements:  High School or equivalent education with 1 to 2 years related experience, or a combination of education and experience.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Special Requirements:  Strong verbal and written communication skills, phone and email etiquette, and computer knowledge will be required.

 

Office hours: M-F, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

 

It is a requirement of Advancial Federal Credit Union that our employees have credit current and in good standing, therefore background and credit checks will be required.  Credit must be in good standing with no collection, repossession, or charge off accounts.
