Branch offices exist to service customer transaction and to sell banking products. As a Customer Service Associate (CSA), you will be working with customers of this office, as well as customers from other branches and departments of our bank. Our mutual expectation is that customers and fellow employees will feel well served in every contact with you, that you will actively participate in training, and that you will acquire the skills necessary to successfully fulfill your job requirements.
This is an entry-level position and is under direct supervision and has the knowledge and skills to complete all the basic requirements for assigned products, services and transactions. Objectives of this position are to demonstrate proficiency in each of the Key Performances Activities and to advance to the "Customer Service Representative" position in the recommended amount of time.

Specifically, your contribution to success is maximized when you: Adhere to your assigned work schedule, which may be flexible and variable. Meet or exceed assigned transaction levels. Meet or exceed assigned sales referral goals. Participate in training programs that expand your knowledge and understanding. Pro-actively seek knowledge of products and services. Distribute flyers, brochures, and marketing materials in the manner assigned.
By following the Bank's policies and procedures, you help to create a high, consistent level of service while minimizing risk of losses. We must meet or exceed customer expectations within reasonable guidelines. Follow all Security procedures and key control. Maintain your cash drawer within prescribed cash limits and meet cash balancing requirements. Process transactions adhering to the Bank's and your office's policies and procedures. Conform to all Government Compliance regulations.
Skills required for this position include:
Must enjoy working with customers and employees. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Cross sell bank products and services and be able to identify sales opportunities. Make appropriate referrals to sales staff. Ability to learn and use branch equipment. Good math, reading, and comprehension abilities. Adhere to existing bank policies and procedures. Proficiency of PC software, Windows, etc. Spanish bi-lingual strongly preferred
Successfully completion of the Customer Service Module 1 in the Teller Certification Program. Successfully complete recommended classes for your position.
