Including yours.  * As ranked for 2006 by Inside Mortgage Finance (Feb. 2, 2007)© 2007.  Countrywide Tax Service Company, Non Impound Tech II  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Updating the AS400 and the Access database with tax information·  Searching data-retrieval systems for tax information·  Completing outbound calls to tax authorities to obtain tax information·  Creating correspondence to communicate with borrowers and/or tax authorities to obtain tax information·  Obtaining tax-sale information when necessary·  Working with homeowners by providing information and guidance when needed·  Ensuring payment is disbursed when necessary·  Traveling when necessary to obtain tax information·  Assisting with the Tax Advance Repayment Program by taking phone calls and processing requests   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  High school diploma or GED  ·  Knowledge of loan servicing with regards to escrow administration items such as tax, insurance, and PMI·  PC proficiency in MS Windows and other business-related software ·  Strong typing skills·  Self-motivation, attention to detail and organizational skills and have the ability to multi task·  Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented department·  Ability to meet required goals·  Effective comprehension, listening, interpersonal, customer service, verbal and written communication skills·  2+ years experience in mortgage/banking or other customer-service-related environment   The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:·  Completion of some college coursework·  Working knowledge of AS400   Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
