CONSUMER LOAN OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Golden 1, one of California’s leading credit unions, is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Consumer Loan Operations Manager for its financial headquarters located in Sacramento.  The successful candidate will assist the VP of Lending in planning, organizing, directing and controlling loan operation aspects of the credit union to ensure that the loan origination process for Indirect and Consumer Lending is efficient and effective, that member satisfaction is high, and that the Golden 1 is able to grow successfully.  

Responsibilities include leading a team of people in meeting the credit union’s strategic initiatives by instilling an exceptional service philosophy, creating a motivational atmosphere, promoting teamwork & communication, and reinforcing the importance of exceeding member expectations.  Other managerial areas include loan policy, underwriting, indirect processing, quality control and DMV services. Successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, in an appropriate field; at least three years progressive management experience in all aspects of consumer lending with a track record of demonstrated success, strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, a commitment to outstanding member service & communication with an emphasis on being a team player, strong technical skills and 1 year minimum supervisory experience.  Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education and the Golden 1 also offers a competitive and generous benefits package.  Please send cover letter, resume and salary requirements.
